Headteacher Alameda Middle School
Alameda Middle School, in the heart of the beautiful Georgian town of Ampthill, Bedfordshire, is expanding. The Governing body is looking for a visionary leader to build on the school’s current success. As a high performing ‘good’ school the foundations are in place. As the next Head Teacher, you must have presence and be an inspirational and dynamic leader to meet the School’s aspirations of attaining ‘outstanding’ status.
You may currently be working in the primary, middle or secondary phase. We are keen to attract the best possible candidate to lead a growing and successful middle school.
Alameda is a purpose-built School for pupils from the ages of 9 to 13 years, with a current roll of 600 pupils. It became an Academy in August 2011. Plans and funding are in place to expand the school from 600 to 720 pupils by September 2014. Construction is planned to commence in October 2013 to provide an enhanced learning environment.
This is an exciting opportunity to drive the development of a highly successful and vibrant school. Our pupils are confident, expressive and inquisitive people who enjoy learning. We are seeking an exceptional person to lead the next exciting phase in the development of our school. The school is an important part of the local community where the staff, Governors and parents are committed individuals, keen to ensure the success of the school and its students at all levels. The Head Teacher must have the same ethos and be able to work with the same focus.The school itself is situated in a very attractive woodland setting within Ampthill. Located between Luton, Bedford and Milton Keynes, it has strong transport links to M1, jctn 12/13.
The person we are looking for:

- has an ability to lead and develop outstanding teaching and learning and the knowledge and ambition to ensure that attainment and achievement of all are maximized
- has the enthusiasm and drive to build upon our many strengths and use these to take the school further forward.

Kitchen Assistant

We are looking for an individual to join our Catering team. We require someone who is able to work as part of a team, show initiative, flexibility, and is well organised (some manual handling will be involved). Hours to be worked: 12.30am to 2.30pm Monday to Thursday and 11.30am to 2.30 on Friday.

We are looking for 3 individuals to join our Caretaking team. Hours to be worked: 3.30pm to 5.30pm Monday to Friday with hours during holiday periods by arrangement.
